Car engines in standard form are always set up as a compromise to compensate for varying fuels etc. If you are in need of more power, then your vehicle could be upgraded by remapping. This is a process where the vehicles brain is told to run at its optimum setting, which unlocks more power and, in most cases, more economy because the engine doesn’t have to work as hard to get up to speed. This is available for most makes and models. This process can also be used when upgraded parts have been added to the vehicle (performance air intakes and exhaust, egr delete) and will calibrate the engine to work with these parts.
